Muriel Quancard in collaboration with Monte Laster, FACE, and Palais de Tokyo co-produced a three-day festival, Banlieue Is Beautiful (BIB) revealing the creative potential of Paris’ most stigmatized suburbs.
A rich program of performances (spoken word, public speaking, dance), video screenings, concerts, installations, and discussions spread in every corner of the Palais de Tokyo.
Also involved in the curatorial and production endeavor were Vittoria Materrese (Palais de Tokyo), Joanna McLennan and Mike Sajnoski (FACE), Badroudine Saïd Abdallah and Mehdi Meklat (Bondy Blog.)
