CURATING

Muriel Quancard implements exclusive projects for cultural institutions, arts organizations and private collections.

She curates content and identifies artists at the crossroad of visual art, performance, music and new technologies within her international network.

Quancard’s dedication to helping artists and arts organizations produce complex multi-media projects led her to contribute to curatorial undertakings merging contemporary visual arts and other art forms including film, music, dance, performance and new technologies.

As cultural producer I have been interested in transversal approaches that privilege dialogue between disciplines. Confronting multiple point-of-views in collaborative creative processes allows to breach controlling forms and ideas. Music and sound have been recurring elements in my past curatorial work.” -Muriel Quancard, interviewed by Kristine Roome for Artfuse

Quancard curated exhibitions, festivals and commissioned artworks globally. She collaborated with such prestigious institutions as the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the MIT List Visual Arts Center in Cambridge, MA, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Dallas Museum of Art. She commissioned more than twenty ambitious multi-media artworks and performances as Curator-at-Large of the Nancy A. Nasher and David J. Haemisegger Family SOLUNA International Music & Arts Festival.
